Biography for Sos Petrosyan Junior – 10 years old, and Tigran Petrosyan -7 years old
Sos and Victoria are the names of the most famous Quick Change artist in Europe and in the world. This award winning husband and wife team called “The New Generation of Quick Change” is a show they are very proud of. Even more proud are they of their two sons Sos Junior and Tigran.


Before the boys were old enough to speak or walk their father taught them pantomime, dance, juggling and magic.
At the age of 3 Sos Junior possessed a video of Michael Jackson… Watching this video over and over and over again he became obsessed with the way Michael Jackson danced. Sos Junior began imitating him down to his smallest movements.
His father noticing his love to dance and as former professional ballet dancer decided to introduce him into other dance moves and styles. Fred Astaire, Rudolf Nuriev, Mikhail Baryshnikov and more were his favourite pass time.


At the age of 4 he was travelling with his parents who were performing in the variety “Pegasus” in Germany. The guest staring the same program Finn Jon was one of the first who recognised Sos Junior’s incredible talent for manipulation. Sos Junior began learning manipulation from his father who taught him the same routine which had been passed down to him by his own father when he was a little boy. Since Sos’s hands were too small for the normal Basic Cards his father had to trim them down to a smaller size. Sos with his his little brothe Tigran Petrosyan were always ready with their magic shows to surprise all the guests and friends that came into the Petrosyans home.


Sos Junior at the early age of 7 was awarded 1st place in the youngest performers’ talent competition in Speyer, Germany beating out other young artists who competed with dance, music and more. Sos’s parents always take him with to their magic tours all around the world. Because of that Sos becomes inspired by the other magicians that he met. Fred Caps, Gardini, David Copperfield, Lance Barton, Hans Klok, Dany Lary, Jeff McBride, Topas are his mentors. But during a television interview Sos Junior was quoted saying – “My favourite magicians are my parents – Sos & Victoria Petrosyans”.


At age 8 Sos Jr. was discovered in Idar Oberstien, Germany by Eberhard Riese, one of the most famous artistic directors in Germany. Sos Junior was now the youngest artist to be taught by this master. When Sos Junior turned age 10 in 2006 he competed in Prix Juventa Magica in Berlin Germany. During this competition Sos Junior was honoured with the manipulation act 1st place trophy. Along with two standing ovations from the audience he also won the coveted people’s choice award and the Wonder Prize by Gerd zu Klampen, an award title that Sos Jr. will hold for two years. Normally these awards are presented to artists ages 14 and over making this another first for Sos Junior.
